Emilio Pucci Introduces the First Capsula Uomo Collection for Fall/Winter 2011
The Emilio Pucci Fall/Winter 2011 is introduced as Capsula Uomo, created by Peter Dundas. The clothes are styled with inspirations from Robert Polidori’s restoration of Versailles depicting ultra-rich collection with functionality, utilitarian with precious, often raw and unfinished.
The collection includes embellished lodes, flannels, velvet appliques and overprinted Pucci jacquards which are then reworked as smoking jackets. Another highlight seen on this collection are hand-painted renderings and sumptuous metallic weavings and delicate laces, paying homage to the Austrian mountains, styled a modern way through unfinished details for a more sophisticated look.
